A family business built one umbrella at a time

Gopal Chandra Ghosh started the business the traditional way: making umbrellas, selling them, and letting quality do the marketing. Over the years the workshop grew into a proper manufacturing unit. We source 40+ raw materials — frames, ribs, canopy fabric, handles and fittings — from more than 15 domestic and international suppliers, and turn them into a catalogue of 50+ finished SKUs. Today the operations are run by the family's second generation, an MBA-led team that has modernised procurement, inventory and client servicing while keeping the founding promise intact: honest products at honest prices.
